Provides direct palliative care and case management for terminally ill pediatric patients and their families. Coordinates with an interdisciplinary team to implement care plans and manage patient emergencies.
Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in Nevada with CPR/First Aid certification and a valid driver's license. Preference is given to candidates with one year of experience in hospice, home health, or pediatric care.
Description
Provides direct palliative care to terminally ill patients and their families while functioning within a medically approved plan of care. Demonstrates proficiency in triaging patient emergencies both in person and on the phone while effectively communicating patient needs and concerns to the correct member of the hospice team.
Accountability: Reports to the Director of Pediatrics & Specialized Services and the Pediatric RN Clinical Coordinator(s)
FLSA Status: Exempt/Salary
