The IT Financial Consultant acts as a strategic bridge between technology and finance to design and optimize ERP workflows across manufacturing and back-office operations. They are responsible for leading ERP implementations and ensuring financial processes align with the operational needs of a publicly traded company.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and over 7 years of experience in ERP consulting or IT finance within a large-scale manufacturing environment. Proficiency in major ERP platforms like QAD, SAP, or Oracle and strong project management skills are required.
Position Summary
The IT Financial Consultant serves as a strategic bridge between technology and finance, providing expert guidance on ERP system design, implementation, and optimization across manufacturing and back-office operations. This role is critical to ensuring that financial processes — from general ledger and accounts payable through accounts receivable and credit decisioning — are accurately reflected in enterprise systems and aligned with the operational realities of a multi-billion dollar, publicly traded manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate combines deep financial acumen with hands-on ERP experience and the ability to translate complex system architecture into clear, actionable guidance for executive and operational stakeholders.
