The Collections Specialist is responsible for communicating with customers to collect on past due accounts including but not limited to resolution of cash related disputes. Cash application related disputes would constitute no more than 20% of the day to day responsibilities. The shift will be M-F, hours differing based on business needs.
Job Duties
Proactively manage a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts to maximize collection efforts and reduce delinquency.
Engage with customers via phone and email to resolve past-due balances and account discrepancies while providing excellent customer service.
Maintain accurate documentation of all collection activities and communications within High Radius.
Collaborate with Sales, Cash Applications, and Operations departments to ensure efficient account management and timely issue resolution.
Review and recommend account adjustments, credit memos, and order holds or releases based on customer credit status.

Required Qualifications:
At least 5 years of commercial collection experience.
Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills and a quality mindset.
Good organizational and people skills; the ability to work and navigate within a complex organization.
The successful candidate must have a strong "customer service" mindset and the ability to use collaborative and non-adversarial approaches in achieving diverse goals.
Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
An ability to see the credit operation as a financially oriented customer service function which balances cost control with support for the business.
The ability to adapt to a rapidly-changing environment and understand/utilize new technologies and tools.
