The Pre-Assessment Testing Nurse guides patients through the pre-surgical process by conducting health assessments and medication reconciliations. They act as a liaison between patients, physicians, and staff to ensure all necessary documentation and tests are completed prior to surgery.
Candidates must hold a valid RN or LPN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications. A minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience is required, with 3-5 years of PAT experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Pre-Assessment Testing Nurse provides the highest level of patient care and will help guide patients through our pre-assessment process as they prepare for surgery. The Pre-Assessment Testing Nurse must have excellent communication skills as they will be working closely with our patients, physicians, physician office staff, and other staff members throughout the surgery center. The Pre-Assessment Testing Nurse is expected to have a high-level of comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment while managing multiple priorities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.
