The Registered Nurse assesses patient responses and implements nursing care plans for individuals and families in the Maternity/Post Delivery Unit. Responsibilities include providing clinical leadership, mentoring peers, and ensuring a safe environment through the nursing process.
Candidates must hold a current PA RN license or multi-state licensure through the eNLC and be CPR certified. Required clearances include Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 FBI fingerprinting.

The Registered Nurse assesses human responses and plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for individuals or families for whom the nurse is responsible. The Registered Nurse is fully responsible for all actions as a licensed nurse and is accountable to patients for the quality of care delivered.
