Responsible for managing instruments, supplies, and equipment during obstetrical operations in the Labor and Delivery unit. The role involves anticipating the surgeon's needs and maintaining a sterile field to ensure quality patient care.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of a Surgical Technologist program or relevant clinical experience. BLS certification is required, while NRP certification is preferred.
