Responsible for organizing and directing programs to maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment while ensuring a safe and efficient plant operation. This includes managing the departmental budget, overseeing outside contractors, and developing plant-wide preventative maintenance schedules.
A bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant military experience is preferred, along with the ability to read electrical, mechanical, and plumbing blueprints. Candidates must be proficient in Windows-based office software and possess strong knowledge of plant utilities like boilers and hydraulics.

Job Summary:
Working as a Laundry Chief Engineer, you are responsible for organizing and directing programs to maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment through appropriate utilization of resources and delegation of responsibility. You will oversee and coordinate these activities along with engineering, transportation and security to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient operation. You will plan the course of these activities to meet financial/budgetary and regulatory requirements. You will maintain active and satisfactory working relationships with the rest of the management team, committees, and staff. You will provide leadership and guidance in the overall operation of the plant.
