About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Accountant to support our core financial operations in Poland. You will ensure the integrity of our financial data, manage end-to-end accounting activities, and contribute to internal reporting and budgeting. Beyond the daily bookkeeping and AP management, you will play a key role in our strategic expansion across Europe, helping to implement scalable financial controls and processes in new jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and oversee the full Accounts Payable (AP) flow to ensure timely settlement of obligations.
Contract Management: Ensure subcontractor agreements are correctly executed and invoices are issued/processed according to contract terms.
Reporting & Budgeting: Prepare financial reports for management, assist in cash flow forecasting, and contribute to the development of annual budgets.
Month-End Closing: Lead month-end procedures, including complex accruals, revenue/expense recording, and full account reconciliations.
Mobile App Analysis: Monitor and analyze financial data related to the mobile application, ensuring accurate reporting and oversight.
International Expansion: Proactively support the financial setup and integration of additional European countries into our reporting structure.
Compliance: Support the preparation of documentation for government institutions and ensure adherence to internal financial controls.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
3–5+ years of experience in a broad accounting role, practical hands-on experience in accounting specifically working with Polish GAAP is a must, ideally within an international environment.
Strong analytical skills and experience managing financial processes end-to-end.
Proficiency in modern ERP systems (experience with Netsuite/Medius is a plus) and Excel.
Professional fluency in Polish & English.
This role is based in Lodz offices and offers hybrid working arrangements.
