The technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on HVAC systems while maintaining accurate service records. They must also provide excellent customer service, manage truck inventory, and ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of residential HVAC experience and hold both TDLR and EPA certifications. Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers are required.
The ideal HVAC Service Technician candidate should have exceptional customer service and HVAC service experience. Successful candidates are organized and able to perform in a fast-paced environment. This role reports to the Service Manager. Must be available to work full shifts plus overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Work in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust. Reasonable accommodation may be made to perform essential functions.
