Design electric distribution projects focused on wildfire mitigation and grid resiliency, including overhead and underground infrastructure. Perform technical drafting, field assessments, and coordinate project lifecycles from initiation to completion.
Requires 2-4+ years of experience in utility design, electrical construction, or civil/mechanical drafting. Must possess a valid driver's license and be comfortable with a hybrid model involving field visits in various weather conditions.
Support critical electric distribution projects focused on wildfire mitigation, grid resiliency, and infrastructure improvements. This role combines utility design, GIS/CAD drafting, field assessments, and project coordination while offering a flexible hybrid schedule with 1–2 days in the office and occasional field visits.
2–4+ years of experience in utility design (electric preferred), electrical construction, or civil/mechanical drafting. Experience with GIS platforms (such as GE Smallworld), AutoCAD, or utility-specific design software is a plus.
Candidates with additional years of utility design experience may be considered for a higher-level title based on technical expertise, project experience, and responsibilities.
We also welcome candidates transitioning from construction, land surveying, electrical trades, or customer service backgrounds who are detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and eager to grow. Training will be provided on utility design systems and standards.
