Overview
We are seeking a reliable and fast learning Manual Packer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and in compliance with all relevant regulations. You will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are paramount. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience with FDA regulations, as well as a strong understanding of CGMP practices.
The Manual Packer position works a Modified DuPont schedule consisting of 12-hour day and night shifts, rotating weekends, and periodic transitions between days and nights. Candidates should carefully consider the schedule before applying.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Occasionally: climb ladders, ascend/descend stairs or ramps while carrying tools. Bend forward at waist, crouch, push, pull twist, drive, handle, reach above the shoulders, reach below shoulders, squat and lift up to 50 pounds.
Frequently: Sit, stand, walk, speak and hear clearly, work with others, and lift up to 30 pounds.
Specific vision: abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when in the plant and warehouse areas. PPE will include safety shoes, eye and ear protection, reflective vests and hairnets or hats along with any other necessary protection. Temperatures in the plant/warehouse can range a great deal from season to season. The employee will be exposed to considerable paper dust and employees will also be exposed to noise levels that will require hearing protection.
