The welder is responsible for making cuts and welds on steel pipe using a universal welder in a fire fabrication shop. Key duties include reading blueprints, setting up machinery, and performing quality penetration die tests to ensure weld integrity.
Candidates must have at least 4 years of welding experience and the ability to read a tape measure. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 lbs and work 8-12 hour shifts, including Saturdays.
