Summary/Objective
The Information Technology Administrator provides technology troubleshooting, network support, and training on the Y’s technology to staff and members. This role serves as a broad, hands-on IT leader responsible for everything from frontline support to system strategy. The Information Technology Administrator is comfortable navigating a wide range of technologies and thrives in an environment where no two days look the same.

Essential Functions
- Serves as the primary IT support resource for the organization, troubleshooting and resolving issues across hardware, software, network systems, phones, copiers, and program-specific technologies.
- Monitors, maintains, and supports network infrastructure, cloud-based systems, cybersecurity practices, and data protection measures to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
- Manages user accounts, system access, permissions, and technology assets, including device procurement, deployment, inventory, and lifecycle management.
- Leads and supports organization-wide technology projects while balancing daily support operations and long-term system enhancements.
- Assists with long-range technology planning, budgeting, and recommendations aligned with organizational goals and operational needs.
- Develops and maintains documentation, training materials, standard operating procedures, and staff training related to technology systems, updates, and best practices.
- Prioritizes and manages multiple requests, projects, and timelines in a fast-paced environment with varied technical needs.
- Supports an inclusive and equitable workplace by ensuring technology access, support, and communication are accessible to all users.

Supervisory Responsibility

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is full-time non-exempt position.
Travel
Travel will be necessary to other office locations for the Lake Superior YMCA and local non-YMCA meetings and events.
Required Education and Experience
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with basic troubleshooting of Windows-based systems.
- Able to work both on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Knowledge Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange preferred.

Preferred Education and Experience
A.A.S or Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with Drupal
