What you’ll do at our Hobart clinic:

  • Deliver early intervention speech pathology services to children and families, supporting communication, participation, and independence.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments (formal and informal) to identify speech, language, and developmental needs.
  • Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based therapy plans aligned with family goals and child needs.
  • Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams using a key worker/transdisciplinary approach.
  • Monitor, review, and adapt therapy programs based on client progress and feedback.
  • Provide education, resources, and ongoing support to empower families in decision-making and home-based practice.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and NDIS-related records within required timeframes.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders (e.g., schools, health professionals, support coordinators) to support client outcomes.

What you’ll get

Support

  • Dedicated buddy to help you settle in
  • 1:1 supervision with an experienced clinician
  • Discipline and peer-to-peer support sessions

  • Clear path from graduate to independent clinician, and beyond
  • Local and global career opportunities through the APM Group

Flexibility and wellbeing

  • Up to 12 weeks annual leave
  • Flexible working options as you progress
  • Wellbeing support for you and your family

Reward and recognition

  • Competitive graduate salary + bonus program
  • Registration and professional membership contribution
  • Relocation reimbursement up to $5,000, where applicable

What you’ll bring

  • Membership / registration with relevant bodies (SPA)
  • Current Driver’s License and vehicle
  • Current Working with Children Check or Working with Vulnerable People Registration (state specific)
  • NDIS workers screening check & Police Check
  • Accredited first aid & CPR certificate
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Exceptional observational and report writing skills
