What we’re looking for
We welcome applicants at all experience levels ($41.08 p/hr):
New to Aged Care – Full training and support provided.
Experienced – Confident delivering day‑to‑day home care tasks.
Advanced/Qualified – Relevant qualifications and strong capability will attract a higher hourly rate.
In addition, you will need:
A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support (dependant)
The role
In the role of Care Worker you will be providing our aged care clients with home help services such as:
General housekeeping and making beds
Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
Washing, folding and ironing laundry
Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
You will also be providing our aged care clients with personal care services such as:
Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day
Assisting clients to take their medications
Assisting with mobility and therapy goals
Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
Providing social and emotional support
Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments
Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.
