MULTIPLE TEACHING POSITIONS (Senior Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics)

St Francis de Sales College invites applications from experienced Teachers to teach Senior Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics to join our vibrant school community set within the beauty of the Adelaide Hills. The successful applicant will deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the Australian Curriculum and SACE, supporting students to achieve positive learning outcomes. Working collaboratively with colleagues and leaders, the teacher will maintain established programs, routines and expectations within the classroom.

For all teaching positions, the successful applicant will demonstrate a capacity to engage, challenge and support learners to achieve their potential and hold a deep belief in the capacity for every child to learn. Our staff work collaboratively with leaders, colleagues, parents/caregivers and others as applicable to facilitate positive learning for our students and engage in educational reform. St Francis de Sales College is committed to supporting and providing teachers with relevant professional learning opportunities to support their teaching practice.

 

Essential Requirements:

• Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the role requirements
• High level interpersonal skills to interact positively with the school community and be a positive role model and professional representative for the school at all times
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to work collaboratively within a team environment and effectively teach students to achieve required learning outcomes
• Be self-directed and utilise initiative and judgement to fulfil role requirements
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to problem solve and ensure required timelines are met
• Willingness to actively and positively uphold and contribute to the culture and ethos of the school
• Proficient ICT skills and knowledge and ability to fully utilise required systems and programs, or ability to quickly learn and use effectively
• Appropriate clearances including a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance, a Catholic Clearance and clearance through the Catholic Education Office e-screening process
• Current certification in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect in Education & Care Settings (RRHAN-EC)
• First Aid Training in an Educational Care setting
• Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum
