The Chief Audit Engineer conducts independent reviews of engineering programmes to identify risks and recommend corrective actions. They provide technical assurance for the PILM process and contribute to the Safety Management System.
A degree in Engineering and professional accreditation (e.g., Chartered Engineer) are preferred. Candidates should have significant experience in aerospace, specifically within controls, software, cyber, or digital domains.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chief Audit Engineer to join the Technical Assurance Team in Derby, Bristol or Solihull.
Reporting to the Director of Technical and Safety Assurance, the Chief Audit Engineer will conduct and report on independent reviews of all engineering programmes, to identify risks, recommend appropriate actions and agree the adequacy of project and/or functional responses.
Significant controls / units / software / cyber / digital experience would be preferred.
