The R&D Director will lead the strategic direction for the Pet Nutrition portfolio in Mexico, managing senior teams to execute product, process, and packaging innovations. Candidates must have extensive leadership experience in R&D within the FMCG industry, preferably in food or pet care. Advanced technical expertise in food science, product development, or engineering is required, along with proven ability to execute medium-term business strategies.
Como R&D Director para Pet Nutrition, serás el pilar estratégico responsable de guiar el rumbo de nuestro portafolio de productos de clase mundial en un mercado de gran relevancia. Liderando a través de gerentes senior y gerentes de área, diseñarás y ejecutarás la estrategia de Investigación y Desarrollo a mediano plazo (1 a 3 años), garantizando la máxima calidad de nuestros productos, la seguridad de nuestras mascotas y la eficiencia de los procesos.
En este rol clave, aportarás liderazgo de opinión para impulsar innovaciones relevantes para los consumidores en productos, procesos y empaques, todo bajo el firme propósito de construir hoy un mundo mejor para las mascotas.
Sólida experiencia de liderazgo dirigiendo equipos de Investigación y Desarrollo (R&D) a través de gerentes y líderes funcionales dentro de la industria de consumo masivo (FMCG), de preferencia en alimentos o cuidado de mascotas.
Capacidad probada para diseñar, adaptar y ejecutar planes de negocio y estrategias funcionales a mediano plazo (1-3 años) alineadas con las prioridades globales de la compañía.
Experiencia técnica avanzada en ciencia de alimentos, desarrollo de productos, empaques o ingeniería de procesos, asegurando siempre el cumplimiento de estándares científicos robustos, calidad y seguridad alimentaria.
Habilidades sobresalientes de influencia, gobernanza intersegmentos y colaboración con equipos multidisciplinarios para gestionar relaciones con stakeholders de nivel directivo.
Proporcionar dirección, mentoría y desarrollo a un equipo de gerentes senior y gerentes de R&D, promoviendo una cultura de alto desempeño basada en el desarrollo de talento y los Cinco Principios.
Diseñar y ejecutar la estrategia de R&D a mediano plazo (1-3 años) para el segmento de Pet Nutrition en México, liderando la creación de productos, procesos y empaques innovadores que generen valor y crecimiento sustentable.
Asegurar la Calidad superior de los productos y la seguridad total de las mascotas, implementando soluciones basadas en ciencia robusta y optimizando la eficiencia de los procesos de manufactura y diseño.
Actuar como líder de opinión clave para la agenda funcional de R&D, gestionando la gobernanza entre segmentos dentro de la región y colaborando estrechamente con stakeholders clave para alinear prioridades del negocio.
