Initiate, monitor, and audit investigational drug studies to ensure compliance with FDA and other regulatory standards. Serve as a liaison between principal investigators, research sponsors, and the pharmacy while managing medication orders and clinical activities.
Requires a Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree and eligibility for Texas State Board of Pharmacy licensure. Must possess or obtain Sterile Compounding (IV) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications upon hire.

JOB SUMMARY
Initiation, monitoring, and auditing of all investigational drug studies approved by the UTSW Institutional Review Board to ensure compliance with federal, state, FDA, and other regulations. Ensure compliance with comprehensive, accurate, and timely records and reports including usage and dispensing records, collection forms, financial and budgeting information. Serves as a resource and liaison for principal investigators, research sponsors, the IRB, and pharmacy.
