Do you have integrity, grit, and a passion for making an impact? Can you think on your feet, read a room, and bring energy to every conversation—even the second or third time around? If so, you might be a great fit for the Bilingual Residential Door-to-Door Sales Representative role at IdeaTek.

We’re expanding into brownfield markets—areas where we’ve already introduced our fiber service. These areas are full of opportunity, but they require more than just knocking. You’ll need creativity, confidence, and communication savvy to convert passings into customers. If you’re hungry to prove yourself and want to grow with a company that values performance and purpose, we want to hear from you.

We offer a competitive base salary with commission based on sales conversions. This position is eligible for a Sign On Bonus of $1,500!! This bonus is paid out after 60 days of successful employment.

A Day in the Life

You’ll head into neighborhoods we’ve already served—homes where the groundwork has been laid. Some residents know us. Others remember us. Your job is to help them take the next step. You’ll knock, follow up, answer questions, and turn interest into action. Your evenings are active, your conversations purposeful, and your wins earned.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work the brownfield: Re-engage homes in areas where fiber service has already been installed or marketed
  • Be the positive second impression: Help customers who’ve seen us before understand why now is the right time to sign up
  • Manage and follow up: Call, text, and drop by again—stay top of mind and be the trusted resource
  • Support community outreach: Partner with your manager to attend local events and build community presence
  • Own your outcomes: Convert past hesitations into new signups and meet performance goals
  • Represent IdeaTek with professionalism, integrity, and creativity
  • Stay safe and consistent: Follow protocols, track your activity, and make the most of your time in the field

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

To be considered for this role, you'll need the following required qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fluenty speaks both English and Spanish
  • 1+ years of sales experience
  • Valid driver’s license with no restrictions
  • Availability to travel and work 4+ days/week in the field, with afternoon/evening focus
  • Physical ability to walk several miles per day and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Self-discipline and independence—you can manage your time and territory effectively
