The Teller is responsible for processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cashing negotiable items while maintaining accurate cash balances. They also promote bank products and services to strengthen client relationships and provide professional customer service.
Candidates must be a high school graduate with at least one year of related cash handling experience. Proficiency in basic mathematics, computer applications, and professional communication is required.
POSITION PURPOSE
Perform numerous functions including processing deposits, withdrawals, posting to general ledger accounts, cashing negotiable items, processing loan payments, savings bonds, and cashier’s checks while promoting the bank’s products and services and providing excellent customer service.
