The American Heart Association is seeking an experienced National Senior Corporate Relations Accounts Lead to champion strategic corporate partnership efforts across the Southwest Region. This position can be remote within the following states: TX, AR, OK, NM, CO, WY.

Responsibilities
This role is responsible for developing strategic business relationships with national companies to secure 7- to 8-figure funding for organizational priorities. Responsible for working with field leaders in local Heart Association regional territory to build a strong portfolio of accounts in order to achieve an annual revenue target in the $8 million+ range, as well as meeting and exceeding strategic account objectives.
Essential Job Duties
Acts as a senior level contact to represent the Heart Association with executives from global and national companies that are headquartered in the Southwest region of the Association
Develop, plan and collaborate with national senior management, regional leadership, and local market executive directors to prospect for new business
Build a diverse portfolio of national accounts for national sponsorship and retail fundraising campaigns
Provide timely direction, framework and resources to region leadership and volunteers while at the same time relying on their expertise, abilities and willingness to leverage their networks to drive the goals of the organization
Lead proposal development efforts that best address the corporate account’s needs while meeting the mission priorities and capabilities of the Heart Association
Coordinate with appropriate departments to provide support, service, programs, or senior management resources
Work closely with operations on contract negotiation and execution that results in a favorable agreement for the Heart Association and A/R deliverables
Lead company strategic account planning process within assigned region and portfolio that develops mutual goals and objectives, revenue targets and critical milestones on a multi-year basis
Regularly evaluates and reports on campaign progress utilizing the applicable campaign management tools and reporting systems. Ensures the integrity and security of donor information and adheres to established policies and procedures.
Operates in accordance with the American Heart Association's Fiscal Standard policies and all applicable laws, regulations, policies and standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Business, Management or related field
Five (5) or more years of successful sales experience, particularly in selling intangible programs and services, along with the ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
Five (5) or more years of experience in negotiation and solution-oriented problem-solving
Five (5) or more years of experience developing and delivering presentations to both large and small groups
Comprehensive ability to prepare written and oral communications including thorough knowledge and command of business English
Ability to consult and interact with high level executives
Must be able to travel at least 50% of time, including overnight stays
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in corporate sponsorship sales greater than $500,000
Experience in contract negotiation and non-profit fundraising execution
Compensation & Benefits
The expected pay range will be $140,000 to $150,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.

Work-Life Harmonization – The Association offers Paid Time Off (PTO) at a minimum of 16 days per year for new employees. The number of days will increase based on seniority level. You will also have a total of 12 paid holidays off each year, which includes several days off at the end of the year.
