We are looking for a Senior Video Editor who understands the digital landscape. You won't just be cutting clips; you will be engineering video assets that drive business results. You will be responsible for creating content for multiple mediums including Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and paid advertising on Meta and Google. A key part of this role is understanding the strategic difference between Organic Content (building community) and Paid Ads (driving sales).
What You Will Do
Multi-Format Execution
You will take core footage, such as a property tour, and repurpose it into multiple formats. This includes 4K cinematic tours for YouTube, fast-paced vertical Reels for Instagram/TikTok, and conversion-focused ads for Meta/Google.
Paid vs. Organic Strategy
You need to know how to edit for different goals. For paid ads, you must understand how to design hooks in the first 3 seconds to stop the scroll. For organic content, the focus is on retention editing to keep the audience watching and trigger algorithm growth.
End-to-End Post-Production
Manage the entire workflow including ingest, proxy creation, color grading, sound design, and final rendering.
Real Estate & Ad Creative
You will edit cinematic property walkthroughs that highlight architectural features using techniques like speed ramping and sky replacement. Simultaneously, you will create high-energy video ads designed to generate leads.
Technical Integration
Seamlessly integrate aerial drone footage and 360-degree camera shots into standard video timelines. You will also handle audio engineering, including cleaning up dialogue, syncing audio, and adding sound effects.
Asset Management
Organize and archive footage using a clear naming convention so the team can easily access files.
Required Skills and Tools
The Foundation (Pro Tools)
You must have mastery over non-linear editing in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. We require advanced ability in Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, tracking call-outs, and logo reveals. You should also be comfortable with Adobe Audition or Fairlight for audio mixing.
The Speed (Viral Tools)
Proficiency in CapCut or InShot is required for editing native social styles with trending effects. You should be able to use Canva for quick thumbnail design and be familiar with AI workflows like Topaz Video AI or Adobe Firefly.
Visual Effects & Transitions
We need someone skilled in invisible cuts, masking transitions, and speed ramping to smooth out property tours. Motion tracking for text and graphics is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in a high-volume production environment. A portfolio is required and must show a mix of long-form cinematic tours, short-form high-energy ads, and examples of color grading.
