Perform production welding of joist products in a fast-paced environment while interpreting shop drawings and blueprints. Maintain a clean, safe work area and perform daily maintenance and scrap removal.
No prior experience is necessary as on-the-job training is provided. Candidates must be able to pass an internal 1G welding test and meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds.

New employees can earn $61K in total compensation when working at Canam Steel Corp for a 40-50 hour work week. This includes the base rate, shift differential, overtime, retention and production bonuses.
There are additional ways to earn including referral bonuses and mentoring incentives.
Position is full-time with benefits!
2nd Shift
8 hour shift schedule:
Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM + overtime as needed, including some weekends
Performs welding operations and related tasks such as gathering required parts, setting up materials for welding and welding joist products.
