The Treasurer leads Wyre’s treasury function, covering cash and liquidity management, financing, financial risk, treasury operations, compliance and reporting. The role of Treasurer combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution and works closely with the Wyre CFO (direct reporting line), Liberty Global and Telenet Treasury teams, Tax, Legal, Accounting and external banking partners.
Your Responsibilities as a Treasurer
Cash, Liquidity & Banking
Monitor daily cash positions, balances and liquidity at group level.
Lead short-term and medium-term cash forecasting processes across the group.
Manage the group’s bank account landscape, including account openings, closures, administration and rationalization.
Financing & Capital Structure
Support (re)financing of Wyre’s capital structure, including structured financing transactions and facilities.
Manage intercompany financing, including benchmarking, transfer pricing alignment, loan documentation, TMS administration, settlements and reporting.
Coordinate with Tax, Legal, Liberty Global, Telenet and banking partners on financing-related matters.
Risk Management
Identify, assess and monitor interest rates, FX and energy price exposures.
Execute, administer, record, settle and report derivatives for FX, external debt and energy exposures.
Treasury Compliance, Reporting & Projects
Own Treasury Policy and ensure compliance with internal, external and regulatory requirements.
Drive quarterly debt compliance calculations, lender certificates, KYC-requests and treasury reporting linked to external debt.
Support Accounting with half-year and annual financial statements for lenders and annual reporting input.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and drive treasury projects, including refinancing, liquidity, working capital, reporting, systems and process optimisation.
Your Profile as a Treasurer
Master's degree in finance or economics and 8+ years of relevant treasury experience.
Broad corporate and operational treasury expertise (debt capital markets, derivatives, US GAAP, IFRS...)
Experience in capital-intensive, leveraged, infrastructure, telecom, utilities or private equity-backed environments is a plus.
Strong analytical, hands-on and able to work independently in a dynamic, international and cross-functional environment.
You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills to navigate internal and external parties.
Fluent in English.
