Full job description

ABOUT LAKEFRONT BIOTHERAPEUTICS

Lakefront Biotherapeutics is a global biotech with offices in Belgium, Chicago and San Francisco, focused on building a differentiated immunology and inflammation pipeline to address serious diseases with high unmet medical need. Our pipeline is anchored by T‑cell engager programs, led by a potential first‑in‑class clinical asset and complemented by an exciting preclinical portfolio in autoimmune disease.

Our lead asset is being developed for severe immune‑mediated diseases, while additional preclinical programs expand the long‑term potential of our R&D pipeline. At Lakefront, we focus on advancing programs with strong biological rationale, clear clinical proof of concept and large commercial opportunities.

Are you ready to transform lives and be part of a journey like no other? We are building a company where science, execution, and accountability matter. Rather than layers of hierarchy, we operate with small, empowered teams that work hands‑on across development stages to move programs forward efficiently and thoughtfully.

We are looking for people who want to contribute directly, who are motivated by solving real problems, collaborating across disciplines, and taking ownership from idea to impact. At Lakefront, every role plays a part in shaping the future of medicines that have the potential to make a meaningful difference for patients.

If you are driven to improve the lives of patients, energized by execution, and excited to help build a growing company with a strong balance sheet, we look forward to meeting you.

Reporting: Director, Reporting & Sustainability Lead

Lakefront Biotherapeutics is a dual publicly listed, global biopharma company with offices in the US (Chicago) and Europe (Belgium, Mechelen). The organisation is building a lean, agile organisation with the ambition to deliver transformative assets and meaningful outcomes for patients and shareholders.

Henry Gosebruch, the new inspirational Chief Executive Officer and his new world-class leadership team have a clear mandate to pursue high impact assets, having already achieved their first key milestone and strengthened their collaboration with their long term partner Gilead, resulting in for the joint development initiatives and participation in new external innovation opportunities such as the acquisition of assets from Ouro Medicines starting with the co-development of Ouro’s lead asset, Gamgertamig (OM336). He states in a recent press release, “This collaboration brings a clinically meaningful, high‑potential asset into our portfolio, while preserving the majority of our cash for future opportunities.”

Corporate Communications and Investor Relations play a central role in clearly articulating this strategy, ensuring transparent engagement with investors and stakeholders, and supporting the company’s evolving positioning in the global biotech landscape. Lakefront Biotherapeutics is now seeking to bring on board a Manager/Senior Manager for Corporate Communications.

Scope of the job

Reporting directly to the Director, Reporting & Sustainability Lead, Lakefront Biotherapeutics is now seeking an enthusiastic, energetic communications professional to join its global team as a Manager/Senior Manager, Corporate Communications. The role will be based in their office in Belgium.

  • Be part of building a best-in-class Investor Relations & Corporate Communication function, viewed by senior leadership as a strategic backbone to delivering long-term value creation and supporting the company’s M&A and business development ambitions.
  • Work closely with a highly regarded, newly appointed Executive Leadership Team, including direct exposure to the SVP IR & Corporate Communications & CFO and senior leaders.
  • Gain hands-on experience across strategic transactions, pipeline evolution, and capital markets positioning, with broad exposure that goes beyond traditional IR & corporate communication responsibilities.
  • Join an entrepreneurial, fast-paced biotech environment with lean decision-making, where initiative, ownership, and high-impact contributions are encouraged and recognised.
  • A role with significant visibility and scope, offering strong professional development as the Investor Relations & Corporate Communications organisation evolves alongside the company’s strategy and growth trajectory.

At Lakefront Biotherapeutics, we are committed to attracting individuals who bring strong expertise, integrity, and a collaborative mindset. We value people who take ownership, work effectively across teams, and want to contribute to meaningful progress.

You will join a highly motivated and supportive team working together to advance our pipeline and strengthen how we operate. As we continue to build and grow, we offer an environment where individuals can develop, take on responsibility, and make a tangible impact.
