The Demand Planning Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate 0 to 24-month rolling demand forecasts for assigned product segments. This role drives demand reviews, optimizes SAP IBP forecasting models, and acts as a strategic bridge between Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT teams.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field and possess at least 5 years of experience in demand or supply chain planning. Hands-on experience with SAP IBP Demand module and a proven track record in cross-functional forecasting processes are highly preferred.

The demand planning specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate 0 to 24-month rolling demand forecast for assigned product segment and/or banners. Your main mandate is to improve forecast accuracy by leveraging advanced features of SAP-IBP Demand Planning, external market data, and collaboration with the Commercial team. This role acts as a strategic bridge between Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT teams to continuously enhance forecasting capabilities and planning maturity. This role also leads the adoption and optimization of advanced forecasting capabilities including statistical modeling, demand sensing, machine learning algorithms, forecast value add (FVA), and exception-based planning.
The successful candidate will reduce manual forecasting activities by leveraging automation, improve forecast accuracy through advanced statistical techniques.
