Full job description
As the Senior Procurement Manager – Procurement Intelligence you will be leading our pioneering Procurement intelligence capability in our Sky Group Procurement Centre of Excellence. The role will involve partnering with all procurement leaders and their teams in Sky and Comcast/NBCU as well as other functions such as Finance, Data and Technology.
Our vision for Procurement is to deliver the best possible supplier contracts and relationships over the short & longer term (cost, quality, risk, availability, innovation, sustainability). This requires:
An understanding of business strategy & stakeholder plans, achieved through strong relationships
An intimate knowledge of a category’s suppliers & market developments, reflected in great category plans
Lead the Procurement data visualization team, with responsibility for day-to-day priorities, delivery, coaching, and development of direct reports.
Own and improve Procurement’s Power BI reporting suite, ensuring dashboards are accurate, intuitive, well-governed, and aligned to business priorities across spend, savings, suppliers, sustainability, diversity, risk, and operational performance.
Partner with Procurement stakeholders to understand business questions, define reporting and data requirements, translate those requirements into practical BI solutions, and support adoption of dashboards and insights.
Work closely with the Data, Finance, Technology, and Procurement teams to improve data quality, reporting definitions, source-system alignment, and confidence in Procurement intelligence outputs.
Support the broader Procurement technology enablement roadmap by identifying opportunities to simplify reporting, reduce manual effort, improve data-driven decision-making, and prepare for future automation and AI-enabled capabilities.
Contribute to enterprise-wide procurement intelligence initiatives across Comcast, NBCU, and Sky, ensuring local needs and global opportunities are appropriately understood and connected.
The role will be expected to identify and apply practical AI opportunities within Procurement Analytics, including the use of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and related tools to improve reporting, insight generation, automation, and user self-service.
What you’ll bring
Essential criteria:
Significant relevant experience in procurement, business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, technology enablement, or a related field.
Strong experience with business intelligence and data visualization including Power BI in an enterprise environment.
Experience managing or leading people, including setting priorities, coaching team members, and supporting delivery through others.
A strong understanding of procurement processes, procurement data, category management, supplier management, or sourcing operations.
Hands on ability to leverage Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and AI-enabled tools to support analytics automation, insight generation, and self-service reporting.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate technical topics into clear business language.
Ability to work across multiple teams and functions, including Procurement, Finance, Data, Technology, and enterprise partners.
Desirable skills and experience:
Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to identify trends, challenge data quality, simplify complexity, and generate actionable insight.
Desirable experience with Sky’s procurement and reporting landscape, including Ariba, SAP, Power BI, Per Angusta, or similar procurement and analytics platforms.
