The Transportation Safety Manager provides operational leadership and oversight for safety programs, including driver hiring, compliance monitoring, and training execution. They are responsible for conducting safety event investigations, managing hazard controls, and analyzing data to improve location safety performance.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience as an Assistant Location Safety Manager combined with five years of operations experience, or a relevant college degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of federal and state safety regulations, including DOT and FMCSA, are required.
