Full job description
Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Manager to join the Data Center Power & Control (DPC) team, supporting the Critical Power Distribution (Kratos) business in Arvada, CO.
The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Manager is responsible for leading the cross-functional planning process for a complex, project-based business environment. The role integrates commercial opportunities, project execution milestones, engineering readiness, supply constraints, and financial objectives into a single executable business plan. The IBP Manager serves as the primary facilitator of alignment across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure forecasted demand can be successfully converted into revenue.
This role is responsible for leading the demand and supply alignment processes within a robust Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) / Integrated Business Planning (IBP) framework. The IBP Manager develops and owns the consensus plan by integrating statistical forecasting, market intelligence, project-based inputs, and operational constraints to align demand, supply, and financial objectives.
The role partners closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to enable data-driven decision-making, manage risk, and optimize service, inventory, and working capital. This is a highly visible role requiring strong analytical capability, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to influence decisions across all levels of the organization.
This position reports to the Sr. Director, Demand Planning.
Salary Range - $125,000 - $155,000 per year
Benefit Highlights - LNCA offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as distinctive benefits like a high employer 401K match, paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay, short-term and long-term disability benefit plans, above-benchmark paid maternity and parental leave, bonus opportunities in accordance with the Company’s incentive plans, paid time off to volunteer, and an active/growing Employee Resource Group network.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a consensus demand plan incorporating statistical forecasting, historical trends, and commercial inputs
Integrate key business drivers into planning assumptions, including:
Customer funding approvals and release timing
Project award timing and backlog conversion
Engineering readiness and product change activity
Utility coordination and site readiness schedules
Support a rolling 12-18-month planning horizon to enable proactive decision-making
Own forecast accuracy and bias performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives
Develop and maintain a project-based business forecast driven by customer awards, backlog conversion, funding approvals, and deployment schedules.
Monitor project pipelines and assess probability-to-award, timing, and revenue realization risks.
Evaluate project milestone achievement, including engineering release maturity, customer approvals, utility readiness, and site construction schedules.
Partner with commercial teams to improve visibility into project timing changes and backlog risk.
Drive planning assumptions that reflect project execution realities rather than exclusively statistical forecast models.
S&OP / IBP Leadership
Lead the Demand Review as part of the monthly S&OP / IBP process
Establish and manage the demand review cadence, including inputs, assumptions, and outputs aligned to financial targets
Identify risks and opportunities and lead scenario planning to evaluate trade-offs across service, cost, and inventory
Support the evolution toward a fully integrated, data-driven IBP process
Manage the conversion of project backlog into executable demand and revenue plans.
Identify gaps between project bookings, engineering readiness, production capacity, and revenue forecasts.
Partner with Sales and Finance to evaluate revenue attainment risks and opportunities.
IBP Governance & Leadership
Own the monthly IBP process and governance structure across the Kratos business.
Establish planning standards, assumptions, metrics, and reporting frameworks.
Facilitate executive reviews and ensure alignment between commercial, operational, and financial plans.
Escalate key business risks and recommend mitigation strategies to leadership.
Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, and organizational capabilities.
Supply & Constraint Integration
Incorporate supply-side constraints into planning, including:
Long-lead component availability and supplier lead times
Internal engineering and production capacity constraints
Align demand plans with supply capabilities to ensure executable and realistic plans
Highlight imbalances between demand and supply, driving cross-functional resolution
Lead cross-functional reviews of supply, capacity, and engineering constraints impacting project execution.
Drive prioritization decisions when constraints exist.
Develop contingency plans for critical supplier, capacity, and schedule risks.
Inventory & Working Capital Optimization
Develop and execute inventory strategies that balance service levels, cost, and working capital targets
Monitor inventory performance, including turns, days on hand, and excess and obsolete (E&O)
Proactively identify risks related to supply-demand imbalances and recommend mitigation actions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Logistics to align plans and priorities
Drive accountability across functions to ensure alignment and execution against the plan
Facilitate cross-functional discussions to resolve trade-offs and support decision-making
Analytics & Systems Enablement
Leverage planning tools (Anaplan), ERP systems (JobBoss), and CRM data to support forecasting and analysis
Translate data into actionable insights to support business decisions
Develop and maintain reporting and dashboards to provide visibility into key metrics and trends
Perform scenario analysis to evaluate trade-offs across service, inventory, and cost
