We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a dynamic HR team in Switzerland.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely execution of monthly payroll activities while supporting payroll administration across multiple Swiss entities.
Key Responsibilities
Support the end-to-end monthly payroll process, including data collection, validation and processing of payroll-related changes.
Perform payroll controls, reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure data accuracy.
Prepare and process monthly and annual reports, as well as statutory declarations (social security, withholding tax, family allowances, accident insurance, maternity, etc.).
Maintain payroll documentation and employee records in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Act as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll-related questions.
Support the administration of Swiss social security, pension schemes, withholding tax and family allowance processes.
Handle various payroll-related administrative tasks, including invoicing and employee benefit administration.
Collaborate closely with HR, Finance and external payroll providers to ensure efficient payroll operations.
Experience & Skills
Minimum 4 years of payroll experience within Switzerland.
Solid knowledge of Swiss payroll legislation, social security and withholding tax regulations.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Well-organized, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Service-oriented mindset with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Fluent French and good command of English are required.
Education & Qualifications
Business education, HR qualification or equivalent Swiss certification.
Additional knowledge of international payroll or cross-border social security regulations would be considered an asset.
