This is a great opportunity for an aspiring chef to develop their skills in a supportive kitchen environment while working alongside experienced chefs.
· Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks as directed by senior chefs
· Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
· Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are clean and organised
· Follow daily checklists and complete tasks efficiently and accurately
· Minimise wastage and ensure correct storage of food items
· Support service periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations
· Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment in line with WH&S standards
· Continue developing knowledge of food products, techniques, and menus
· Previous kitchen experience or relevant training (preferred but not essential)
· Passion for food and a strong desire to learn and grow
· Positive attitude and willingness to take direction
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Strong teamwork and communication skills
· Flexibility to work a rotating roster including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
