The Life Engagement Assistant develops and implements wellness programming for residents based on the Six Dimensions of Wellness. They oversee engagement staff, manage budgets, and coordinate community events and outings.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and 1-3 years of experience working with elderly populations. A chauffeur license must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
The Life Engagement Assistant delivers meaningful programming for residents by incorporating the Six Dimensions of Wellness—social, physical, spiritual, intellectual, environmental, and emotional. The Assistant helps to oversees activities across all levels of care, manages engagement staff, and promotes participation through individualized and group opportunities. The role requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and supervision of the Life Engagement Coordinator.
