Supervises cooks and food service workers to ensure safe, efficient operations and adherence to departmental standards. Manages administrative tasks including scheduling, purchasing, and maintaining regulatory records such as temperature logs.
Requires a high school diploma and completion of an approved Dietary Management Course. Candidates must have at least three years of food service experience in a health-related facility, including one year in a supervisory role.
Provides direct supervision to the cooks and other foodservice workers to ensure the safe and efficient performance of their duties and responsibilities and that the standards set by the department are met.
