The LPN provides nursing services to individuals in Intermediate Care Facilities, ensuring physical health needs are met through medication administration and skilled nursing procedures. They coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and delegate nursing tasks to direct service providers.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved practical nursing school and hold a valid LPN license from the State Board of Nursing. A valid driver's license and insurance are required, with a preference for one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing services to individuals residing in our ICFs (Intermediate Care Facility). The LPN reports to a Registered Nurse and is responsible
for working within the scope of their license to ensure that the physical health needs of the clients are met and maintained on an individualized basis in accordance with policies and procedures and current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. LPN will coordinate health needs with members of the client's team as well as provide necessary training to team members. LPN will also be responsible for delegating nursing tasks to certified direct service providers.
