Perform routine technical engineering tasks using standard procedures and criteria. Responsibilities include working on special projects, writing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and creating prototypes.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or a Master's degree. Candidates must demonstrate analytical skills, computer proficiency, and knowledge of US and international standards.

1. Performs routine technical work requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out engineering tasks.
2. Uses limited amounts of discretionary judgment in making decisions regarding technical alternatives.
3. Performs work of some higher technical level for training purposes, and work is screened to ensure correct application of scientific principles.
4. Works on special projects, writes ECN's, and may create prototypes under general direction.
5. Performs other related duties and tasks as required.

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Working knowledge of United States and international standards as applicable to the department.
