Join our dedicated team at Emory Valley Center as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Specialist, where you will play a vital role in supporting adults with dual diagnoses of intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD) and co-occurring mental health conditions. Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate group and individual support services tailored to the needs of adults with dual diagnoses
Develop and implement therapeutic programming that fosters recovery, social skills, emotional regulation, and independence
Utilize a holistic, strengths-based approach aligned with person-centered thinking and recovery principles
Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure services reflect individual preferences and goals
Promote autonomy and respect for clients’ choices while supporting their progress toward functional living

Engage with clients, families, and community resources to support ongoing recovery and social integration

Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human services field such as special education, social work, recreational therapy, psychology, or counseling, or actively pursuing such a degree.
Prior experience working with individuals diagnosed with an intellectual or developmental disability is preferred.
Experience with group therapy formats is advantageous.
Valid Tennessee driver’s license with a good driving record.
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional after-hours work and travel.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting individuals with diverse needs.
