Provide healthcare services by performing mammography imaging procedures and producing diagnostic images for licensed practitioners. Conduct quality control tests to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while working at the hospital and on a mobile van.
Requires graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program, NJ State licensure, and ARRT certification. Candidates must have at least one year of experience as a Mammography Technologist and current BLS/CPR certification.
The primary purpose of the Special Procedures Technologist (Mammography) is to provide healthcare services to patients requiring mammography imaging. Performs appropriate procedure and related techniques on patients, producing images for the interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedures. Responsible for carrying out quality control tests to comply with state and federal requirements. Must be able to perform duties in UH as well as on the Mobile Mammography Van. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
What You’ll Do
In compliance with New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly range for this position is TT/2800:$ 40.69 -: $ 41.19 -: $ 42.42 per hour. University Hospital considers multiple factors when determining compensation, including (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant work experience, education and training, key skills, internal equity, market data, and organizational needs.The expected salary range for this position is in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
