The Clinic Nurse Manager oversees clinical operations, patient throughput, and staffing patterns within the Ambulatory Care Center to ensure safe and effective patient care. They are responsible for budget management, regulatory compliance, and implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient and provider satisfaction.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse licensed in New Jersey with a BSN and at least five years of nursing experience. BLS certification is required, while an MSN and Ambulatory Nurse certification are preferred.
The Clinic Nurse Manager is an experienced clinical leader responsible for managing assigned areas and multiple services within the assigned practice, supervising assigned patient care personnel during clinic operations. The Clinic Nurse Manager is responsible to ensure the safe and effective delivery of patient care and clinical outcomes, compliance with regulatory, administrative, and clinical standards, policies, and procedures. The Clinic Nurse Manager is seen as an expert in clinical practice topics and is proficient in personnel management and directs care to meet the unit demands in an efficient and cost-effective manner, as well as assisting with clinic budget management. This position reports to the Administrative Director of the practice and the Executive Director Clinical Operations.

In compliance with New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is NS/05S: $ 111,040 - $ 138,800- $ 166,559 per year per year. University Hospital considers multiple factors when determining compensation, including (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant work experience, education and training, key skills, internal equity, market data, and organizational needs. The expected salary range for this position is in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
