The Patient Care Technician monitors patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments, including measuring stats and initiating cannulation. They are also responsible for setting up hemodialysis machines and providing high-quality care to patients with chronic kidney disease.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a desire to care for patients. Experienced technicians are required to hold current certifications from BONENT, NNCC, or NNCO, as well as current BLS/CPR certification.
