The Histotechnologist is responsible for processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining human tissue specimens for microscopic examination and diagnosis. They also maintain laboratory equipment, perform quality control, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Candidates must hold an Associate degree and an ASCP certification. Preferred qualifications include three to six months of related laboratory experience.
