The Medicare Sales Field Agent will educate individuals on Medicare Advantage plans and build trust through face-to-face community engagement and in-home visits. They are responsible for driving self-generated sales, meeting performance goals, and expanding Humana's market presence.
Candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish and hold an active Health Insurance License or have the ability to obtain one. The role requires residency in the assigned territory, a valid driver's license, and the ability to conduct daily face-to-face interactions.
The MarketPoint Career Channel Team is looking for accomplished Medicare Sales Field Agents. This is a field-based role, and you must live in the designated territory to serve the local community. As part of a collaborative team of 8–12 Medicare Sales Field Agents, you'll work under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director who are committed to your success. Together, you will help bring Humana's strategy to life: Deliver on the fundamentals, differentiate through exceptional service, and grow by expanding our reach and influence.
This role is part of our company's driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and are expected to maintain personal vehicle liability insurance. State driver's license is subject to driver license validation and MVR review. Individuals must carry vehicle insurance in accordance with their residing state minimum required limits, or $25,000 bodily injury per person/$25,000 bodily injury per event /$10,000 for property damage or whichever is higher.
Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.
Meeting with members requires appointments and/or event times that may vary at night and weekends. Flexibility is essential to your success.
The first five weeks of employment and attendance are mandatory.

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary.
