The Biomed Tech is responsible for maintaining, operating, testing, and repairing medical and non-medical equipment, including patient beds and surgical tables. They perform preventive maintenance and ensure clinical furnishings and transport devices are in proper working order.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in biomedical electronics repair or general hospital equipment maintenance. An associate degree in Biomedical Electronics and technical certifications are preferred.
