The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic examinations and ensuring patient safety through proper shielding and collimation. Duties include operating imaging equipment, processing images, and performing administrative tasks such as scheduling and record maintenance.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Required certifications include ARRT certification, a NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology, and BLS HCP certification.
