What You'll Do
As an Orthopedic Medical Assistant at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:
Guiding Patients: Escort patients to exam rooms, assist with dressing/undressing, and ensure comfort and privacy
Coordinating Care: Prepare surgical orders, schedule lab tests and diagnostic procedures, obtain test results, and manage medical clearances for surgeries
Communication and Follow-Up: Manage patient callbacks regarding messages, prescriptions, and referrals; monitor and respond to physician queues
DME Support: Demonstrate proper fitting and usage of durable medical equipment (DME) like braces and soft goods when needed

What You’ll Need
High school diploma or equivalent

Positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively
