The Registered Nurse manages daily functions of the surgery center, overseeing patient care across preoperative, operating room, and recovery settings. Key duties include admitting patients, circulating in the OR, monitoring postoperative recovery, and ensuring a safe, sterile environment.
Candidates must hold a current Washington RN license and BLS certification, with ACLS preferred. Two years of experience as an operating room nurse is preferred, along with proficiency in medical software and strong critical thinking skills.

Assists in overseeing patient care activities in the operating room, preoperative, and recovery settings and maintains a high standard of safety for the patient and other staff members.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience:
Current Washington RN license and BLS required, ACLS preferred. Prefer two (2) years experience as an operating room nurse. Candidates will complete some on-the-job training, but should already have the required skills, knowledge and work-related experience.
Language Ability:
Fluency of the English language. Excellent oral and written comprehension and expression. Speech clarity and recognition. Active learning and listening. Ability to respond to common inquiries and provide information to patients and colleagues. Good interpersonal skills.
Math Ability:
Ability to use basic mathematical methods or formulas for business related calculations. Ability to calculate percentages and make estimates. Ability to compile, tabulate, or verify information or data.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to think critically, problem solve, use judgement and make decisions. Ability to collect data and establish facts. Ability to use logic. Ability to analyze data or information and use deductive and inductive reasoning.
Computer Skills:

Certificates and Licenses:
Active Washington RN License

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Delegation of tasks to Medical Assistants as appropriate based on scope of practice.
