The Device Technician will manage implanted cardiac devices, including pacemakers and ICDs, while collaborating with physicians on treatment plans. They are also responsible for device clinic triage, patient education, and assisting with sterile surgical procedures.
Candidates must hold a Medical Assistant Certification and have at least five years of cardiology experience, with a preference for two years of specific pacemaker and ICD training. Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly Epic, and current CPR/BLS certification are required.
