We’re looking for a detail‑driven accounting professional who enjoys owning key financial processes and contributing to a stable, supportive finance team. In this role, you’ll manage essential parts of our month‑end close, including pre‑close activities and the first five days of the cycle, while maintaining accurate CAPEX and fixed‑asset records. You’ll prepare reconciliations, research variances, manage work orders, and support ad‑hoc projects that keep our operations running smoothly. You’ll work independently while collaborating closely with Budget, HR, Benefits, Customer Service, and Operations.

Established in 1923 by a special act of the Florida Legislature, OUC is the second largest municipal utility in Florida and 14th largest municipal in the country. OUC provides electric, water, chilled water and/or lighting services to 400,000 accounts. OUC has maintained the best electric reliability in the state of Florida for 21 years in a row, when compared to Florida’s investor-owned utilities.
