As an ADF Rehabilitation Consultant, you will support ADF members in returning to a deployable status after injury or illness. This includes conducting assessments, developing rehabilitation plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Candidates must have current registration with a relevant industry body and tertiary qualifications in fields such as Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy. A minimum of 12 months of occupational rehabilitation experience is required, with experience with the ADF or Veterans being highly regarded.

This is an exciting and rare opportunity. Working as an ADF Backfill Rehabilitation Consultant, you will become a subject matter expert on all things Defence! You will support our existing team of Rehabilitation Consultants by providing cover for annual leave, sick leave and periods of vacancy to ensure continued care for our ADF Members. It’s a fast paced, exciting and somewhat challenging role with the need to pivot at short notice to ensure needs of the business and ADF members are met.
Based in either Adelaide or the Darwin area, this role will see you work across a number of ADF bases across Adelaide and/or the Northern Territory. You will enjoy diversity and the unique work setting that each Defence Force base has to offer. With all your travel and accommodation expenses covered, consider this a working holiday with purpose! Depending on your availability/preference for travel, choose to work across both States or just one.
