The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for the overall operation, profitability, and staff supervision of the store. Key duties include ensuring world-class customer service, managing inventory, and assisting the Store Manager with hiring and performance evaluations.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of management experience in grocery or retail. Required certifications include the ability to obtain food safety and forklift certifications, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
The Assistant Store Manager is the second person in charge of the store and is responsible for the successful operation and profitability of the store which includes training, directing and monitoring all department staff.
